Returning to My Roots!

Well I recently did the Big Chop     almost three months ago in June.  For those of you who do not know, the Big Chop is when you cut off all of your relaxed hair. I am now 100 percent natural. I have no relaxer in my hair!! There are days when I wish I had my hair back or  wish that it would hurry up and grow, but all in all I am really enjoying this new look and I hope  that you like it as well!

Think Like A Man

I am going to go see the movie Think Like A Man today! I surely hope that it is as good as the many reviews I have seen on facebook! I'm sure it will be, but if not I know there will be some good ol' eye candy (Michael Ealy) to keep me happy!! LOL!!

Headshots!

The headshots went pretty good.. I think it would have been a lil better if the sun was out, but Jason did a nice job. Now I just need some software that makes headshot resumes.. any ideas jus comment them to me! Ok bout to head off to work, but will talk to ya soon!

Lights, Camera, Action!

Ok the film shoot went great..(you can see me to the left with all my make-up on.. minus lipstick.. the make-up artist wanted to wait til I got dressed first).. lol..it's funny to see because I hardly ever wear make-up! Anyways the shoot was actually for the trailer to an independent feature film shot in Greensboro. Today, the director, Brian Harris gave the footage of the first film I shot with him called "Fruit." Although it's not the final edit version it still looked good and I can't wait to edit it to get my demo reel together.. Once I get these headshot today I'm gonna go agent hunting! I'm excited that I'm chasing my dream.. Although my acting career may never go "big time", I still can say I had fun doing what I love! Ok I will post the headshots as soon as I get them.. They will be shot by my friend and WSSU almuni Jason Chunn. Til next time guys.. have a blessed day!!!

Movie Shoot

Hey well I'm a lil tired, so I'm gonna make this one short. I have a small part in another independent film in Greensboro.. it starts at 6:30 in the morning, but I gotta make sure I'm there by 6am. I'm hoping I can remember the little bit of lines that I have and that my wardrobe is ok for the scene. Ok I'm just taking it one step at a time, so move over Halle.. LOL! J/K!! Ok good night!!! I'll let you know how it went later on tomorrow. I also have a photo shoot around 11am tomorrow for my headshots. Whew what a day what a day it's gonna be.. lol!!!

Finding Me...

I am in the process of finding myself. I know the exact moment when I lost that part of me that I now so long for. I would hear "why do you wanna wear that?" "You don't need to wear that make-up." Who are you trying to impress?" It just went on and on, so eventually I just quit trying. I lost that girl who loved to put on a little make-up or wear something that complimented her figure. I would and still do at times hear that voice in the back of my head, but it's my time now to find her. The girl who, with out conceitedness, knew that she looked good, knew that she was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. I can still feel her and at times hear her, so i know that she is still there, waiting patiently to be found. She knows that she is terribly missed and this time around will be treasured as she was meant to be. So, now I ask myself how can you truly love another when you don't truly love yourself. I am on a journey to finding true love for myself...... I am on a journey to finding me.

Summer Summer Summer Time!!!

Ok it's been a long while since I wrote(Thx Lil' Bit for getting me back on track).Well I'm home for the summer. (profession: Substitute) Most of my days are full of boredom, but on those rare days I do have a blast. Its really all about how you choose to live your life. If you don't put some kind of thought or effort in your day then you're most likely gonna be bored and if you want to have fun then you'll find a way to be entertained.. Ok guys there's nothing really to talk about today so just thought I'd hit ya wit a lil bit of knowledge.. Lol! I'll be back soon.. So stay tuned!!
